Christina Georgiou

Chief Operations Officer

Christina joined Invel in January 2019 as Office Manager in Limassol. As the company expanded rapidly, she became increasingly involved in Group-wide recruitment and organizational development, leading to her appointment as Chief of Staff in November 2020. She currently serves as Chief Operating Officer, overseeing cross‑functional coordination and ensuring seamless communication between the CEO, senior leadership, and the broader organization. Since joining, she has completed a certificate in Alternative Investments from Harvard Business School and the Chief Operating Officer Program at INSEAD Executive Education.

Before joining Invel, Christina spent three years in Brussels as a diplomatic attaché at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus, stationed at the Permanent Representation of Cyprus to the EU. In this role, she worked closely with the Permanent Representative, participated in COREPER II meetings, and contributed to the preparation of four Council configurations—Economic and Financial Affairs, Foreign Affairs, General Affairs, and Justice and Home Affairs. She later served for four years as Office Manager of the Embassy of France in Cyprus and as PA to the Secretary General of the Embassy.

Christina holds an MSc in Political and Social Sciences and International Relations and a BSc in Applied Foreign Languages (LEA)—a multidisciplinary program combining foreign languages with international business, law, and communication—from the University of Strasbourg, France. She is fluent in Greek, French, and English, with basic knowledge of Italian.
