Christina Georgiou
Chief Operations Officer
Christina joined Invel in January 2019 as Office Manager in Limassol. In a rapidly growing company, she quickly became involved in all subsequent hires across the Group, leading to her appointment as Head of HR in November 2020. Since November 2021, she has served as Chief of Staff, ensuring seamless communication and coordination between the Managing Partner (MP), senior management, and the wider organization. Since then, she has obtained a certificate in Alternative Investments from Harvard Business School and is currently completing the Chief Operating Officer program through INSEAD Executive Education.
Immediately after graduating, Christina lived and worked in Brussels for 3 years as a diplomatic attaché of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus. She was positioned at the Permanent Representation of Cyprus to the EU, where she served as one of the closest collaborators to the Permanent Representative, participating at the COREPER II meetings, preparing the work of 4 Council configurations (economic and financial affairs, foreign affairs, general affairs, justice and home affairs). Prior to joining Invel, Christina also worked as the Office Manager of the Embassy of France in Cyprus and the PA to the Secretary General of the Embassy for 4 years.
Christina holds an MSc in Political and Social Sciences and International Relations and a BSc in Applied Foreign Languages (LEA) – a multidisciplinary program combining foreign languages with international business, law, and communication., both from the University of Strasbourg, France. She is a fluent Greek, French and English speaker and a basic user of Italian.
