Elena Kyriakidou

Principal Head of Legal and Compliance

Elena joined Invel in October 2019 and plays a key role in the firm’s legal and regulatory functions. Her responsibilities include legal, compliance, due diligence, and corporate governance matters. She supports the investment and finance teams throughout the lifecycle of acquisitions, disposals, and structuring, helping to ensure smooth and effective implementation at every stage.

Prior to joining Invel, Elena was Deputy Head of Compliance at RCB Bank Ltd, one of the most prominent financial institutions in Cyprus at the time. In this role, she was responsible for developing and maintaining the bank’s compliance framework and ensuring adherence to regulatory obligations set by the Central Bank of Cyprus and the European Central Bank.

Elena began her career as a corporate lawyer at Elias Neocleous & Co LLC, a well-established Cyprus law firm with an international client base and recognised expertise in corporate and financial law.

She holds an LLB (Hons) from the University of Essex, an LLM in Banking and Finance Law from the University of London, and an MBA in Finance from the University of Leicester.
