George Kountouris

Senior Advisor

George joined Invel in January 2022 as a Senior Advisor, building on a 25-year close and successful collaboration with Chris.

George is a renowned figure in the industry and brings more than 38 years of experience in real estate, investment banking, private equity and hedge funds. At present, he is also a member of the Board and of the Investment Committee of PRODEA Investments, as well as a Senior Advisor to Blantyre Capital, a Pan-European distressed debt and equities group. Over the course of his career, George’s responsibilities have included being Chairman of the Aerium Investment Committee, CIO and Partner of Portland Capital LLC, Managing Director and European Partner of DLJ Real Estate Capital Partners (Credit Suisse) and Managing Director and European Co-Head of Deutsche Bank Real Estate Private Equity Group, one of the most successful real estate private equity programmes in Europe
